EMASI Tet Fair 2024
EMASI Tet Fair 2024: Building Community Bonds on the Eve of the New Year
In the final days of the Year of the Cat in 2023, the EMASI community had the opportunity to come together and commemorate beautiful memories while sharing hopes for the upcoming year at the 2024 Tet Festival 2024 – an eagerly anticipated event for all members of the school community.
In a lively atmosphere adorned with a spectacular array of traditional costumes, the “Tet Xua Tet Nay” (Old Tet New Tet) at EMASI Van Phuc and the “Cho Que” (Countryside Market) at EMASI Nam Long were brought to life with elaborate miniature landscapes and unique traditional Tet decorations.
Students had joyful laughter as they explored a series of enjoyable activities, such as seeking calligraphy blessings, making to he figurines, coconut leaf folding, and painting clay piggy banks. They also immersed themselves in various traditional folk games like O An Quan (square capturing), tug of war, skipping rope, sack races, throwing blessing ball through the loop, and ring tossing. The festival featured cultural performances, entertainment shows, culinary and handicraft booths, and much more.
The Tet Fair at EMASI Van Phuc and EMASI Nam Long was not only an occasion for the community to immerse themselves in a joyful atmosphere and ignite excitement for the approaching Year of the Dragon, but it was also an opportunity for community members to come together, bond, and cherish precious moments with the EMASI family. Parents and students were invited to reminisce about memorable experiences and spread joy during this traditional community celebration at EMASI!
