Physical Education at EMASI: For Holistic Development
Physical Education is a structured component of the EMASI curriculum. Regular physical activity is included within the school program to support students’ participation in movement-based learning alongside academic studies.
Through sports and physical activities, in a WASC-accredited environment, students develop physical strength, flexibility, discipline, perseverance, and teamwork, all of which are as important as academic knowledge in shaping a well-rounded individual.
Physical Education helps in developing skills
EMASI’s program introduces students to a variety of sports and physical activities, including swimming, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and indoor rock climbing. Activities are designed to be age-appropriate, building skills progressively from Early Years through Grade 12.
Students take part in activities that involve movement, coordination, and basic sport-specific techniques, within a supervised and well-organized learning environment.

Beyond the Classroom
Physical Education extends beyond regular lessons through extracurricular clubs, school competitions, and friendly matches with partner schools. These activities provide additional opportunities for participation in sports and physical activities outside regular class time.

From Personal Growth to Community Spirit
Sports also help bring the EMASI community closer together. Parents often join in as enthusiastic supporters, cheering on their children and becoming active participants in the school’s holistic mission. The energy, joy, and shared memories created during these events contribute to a strong, connected community, and help shape lasting, positive habits for life.
