“People, Victory and Life after the War” Exhibition – Opening Reception 25.03.2021

Last month, after tremendous efforts to connect both domestic and international artists, EMASI, in partnership with Nguyen Art Foundation, opened its inaugural exhibition “People, Victory, and Life after the War”. Opened on March 25, the exhibition remains open to the public by appointment until December 2021.

The exhibition is hosted simultaneously at EMASI Nam Long and EMASI Van Phuc campuses in art spaces designed to foster and nourish a passion for national art and history.

Mr. Peter Gittins, EMASI Chief Education Officer, celebrated the event not only as tribute to its artistic merit but also as an expression of the learning opportunity students had in helping to curate the show. This was a chance for students to reflect on their own history and to appreciate the resilience and determination of their forebears. Through the art curation activities, students deepened their understanding of the socio-political dimensions of the time and better appreciated the successes of a Vietnam that emerged as a result.

The EMASI community, parents, and art lovers are welcome to visit the collection by contacting artspace@emasi.edu.vn or the school office. For more information, kindly visit: nguyenartfoundation.com/People-Victory-and-Life-after-the-War or Nguyen Art Foundation.
