Ms. Susanne Elizabeth Collin

Miss Susie was influenced by her family to become a teacher. Her younger brother, aunt, uncle, and cousin are all teachers, and she was inspired by their profession and how rewarding a career in education can be.

During her childhood, her former teachers supported her and helped her develop her sense of individuality and shape her into who she is today. She strives to emulate the care, compassion, and support she received as she navigated her school days, while utilizing her communications experience to tailor the academic approach in her lessons to best suit her students, relevant to their levels, ages, languages, cultures, and interests.

She is committed to instilling a sense of confidence in her students through positive communication and creating inclusive and exciting learning environments through thoughtful lesson planning, which helps nurture their academic success, character development, and well-being. In her classroom, she endeavors to shape her students into self-motivated, critical thinkers who demonstrate attributes of care and compassion and always believe in their ability to succeed.
