Mr Daniel Malachi Lyng

Education and Qualifications: Master of Arts (MA) in Applied Educational Leadership; Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Science Education with Qualified Teacher Status (Physics specialization); NPQH (graduated in 2026); Chartered Science Teacher; Chartered Physicist.

Educational Experience: Daniel is a student-centred and values-driven leader who is passionate about creating an environment where both students and staff can thrive. Bringing 14 years of leadership experience across international school settings in Papua New Guinea, Malaysia, Thailand, and Italy, he has led whole-school and academic initiatives spanning curriculum development, staff development, and continuous school improvement across diverse international programmes. His experience in international education, combined with his collaborative approach,

commitment to continuous improvement, and dedication to academic excellence and student wellbeing, is further strengthened by his Master’s Degree in Applied Educational Leadership and Management. Together, these qualities make him a tremendous asset to our Secondary School and position him well to lead its continued development and success. Daniel will be relocating to Vietnam to join the EMASI Nam Long community from August 2026, and we are excited for him to begin this new chapter with us. Over the coming months, we willwork closely with him to ensure a smooth transition and a successful start to the new academic year.
