Science and Engineering Fair with their project on “Drone Design for Water Rescue Buoy Delivery “

Faced with the urgent need for safer, faster rescue methods, Nguyen Hung Phat and Le Hoang Tuan developed an innovative drone-based solution designed to assist in emergency situations. Their project addresses the growing global issue of deaths caused by drowning and entrapment in inaccessible locations, proposing drones as a safer, more efficient alternative to traditional rescue methods.
The implementation process involved structured trials with varying numbers of flotation devices to determine the optimal configuration for real-world rescue scenarios. The results demonstrated that drones significantly improved survival chances by reducing response time and minimizing the risks faced by human rescuers, particularly in dangerous environments such as deep water areas.
