Graduate Ready Program with social entrepreneur Ms Lilly Vo

In honor of Vietnamese Women’s Day, EMASI Van Phuc students were thrilled to welcome Ms Lilly Vo as a guest speaker for the campus’ Graduate Ready Program.

A graduate from Kingston University, London where she studied International Business before completing a master’s in finance, she is now a social entrepreneur in Vietnam actively involved in Vietnam’s British business community. Her meaningful businesses have included providing sustainable materials to the UK markets to serve as alternatives to plastic products.

Lilly shared about the transformative impact of a young person leaving their comfort zone to study overseas and the profound effects it had on her. She also gave students who are considering studying at overseas universities helpful advice on how to overcome challenges, improve her language ability and achieve things she never dreamt possible.

It was inspirational for students to hear from a young Vietnamese social entrepreneur who has returned to Vietnam following successful studies overseas.
