Integrating National Excellence with the Cambridge International Primary Curriculum
The integrated bilingual curriculum for students from Grades 1 to 5 at EMASI offers learners the opportunity to acquire a solid academic foundation in Vietnamese while simultaneously developing their cognitive and academic proficiency in English. This is achieved through integrated subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and ICT. As a Cambridge school, EMASI maximizes its strengths in bilingual education by offering Cambridge subjects including Art & Design, Music, Physical Education, Global Perspectives, and a unique Library program designed and operated by an international team of specialists.
EMASI’s curriculum equips students with both a strong academic foundation and a global mindset, while honoring the values of Vietnamese language and culture. As a result, all subjects within EMASI’s bilingual international environment aim to cultivate linguistic flexibility and confident communication in both languages.
Beyond academic knowledge, the curriculum also emphasizes the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and cultural awareness. Learning is inquiry-based and experiential, involving projects, experiments, and hands-on activities that meaningfully connect classroom knowledge to real-world contexts.
Furthermore, the curriculum is complemented by Cambridge Physical Education, Swimming, Music, and the EMASI Library program, all delivered in a bilingual format within a fully WASC-accredited learning environment, providing students with a balanced and enriching learning experience.
Fostering a Love for Learning and Critical Thinking Skills
The EMASI Elementary Program is designed to cultivate a passion for learning and inspire curiosity in students every day. Through an engaging learning environment and innovative teaching methods, students are encouraged to explore, inquire, and develop their creative thinking skills.
