Admissions and Enrollment Process

EMASI welcomes new students throughout the academic year across all grade levels, subject to seat availability.

Parents are encouraged to schedule a school tour and arrange for their child to take the entrance assessment at any time during office hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Admissions Timeline

EMASI accepts applications on a rolling basis throughout the academic year.

Admission Criteria

EMASI accepts students whose learning needs and personal development can be supported by the school’s academic programs and student services at the time of enrollment. As part of the admissions process, all applicants will be interviewed by the Head of the relevant grade level. Except for students applying to Grade 1, all applicants from Grade 2 and above are required to complete an entrance assessment.

The school reserves the right to refuse admission to applicants based on the following considerations:

  • There are negative elements in the applicant’s scholastic or behavioral record that could potentially have a negative impact on the school or community.
  • The class size is at capacity for the grade being applied for.
  • Required documentation as per admissions procedures is not provided.
  • The school cannot meet the individual needs of an applicant.

Admissions Process

To apply for admission, the following documents should be received by the school’s Admissions Office:

  1. A completed and signed Application Form
  2. 02 passport photos (3×4 cm) (4×6)
  3. 01 A notarized copy or extract of the student’s Birth Certificate in Vietnamese with personal identification number
    For foreign nationals: A notarized translated copy with red stamp
  4. 02 notarized copy of the parents’ or guardians’ identity cards or passports
  5. Personal Identification Number and Citizen Information Notice (issued by local authorities), or A copy of the student’s National ID Card
  6. For Kindergarten and Grade 1 applicants: A copy of the student’s immunization record
  7. For Elementary applicants from Grades 2 and above: Elementary academic records with school stamp across pages, grades, and signatures
  8. For Middle School/Lower Secondary applicants:Elementary academic records with school stamp across pages, grades, and signaturesCertification of completion of the Elementary School

    Middle School/Lower Secondary Transcript with student photo, school stamp across pages, grades, and signatures (required for Grades 7 and above)

  9. For High School/Upper Secondary applicants:Elementary academic records with school stamp across pages, grades, and signaturesCertification of completion of the Elementary School

    Middle School/Lower Secondary Transcript with student photo, school stamp across pages, grades, and signatures

    Middle School/Lower Secondary Diploma

    High School/Upper Secondary Transcript with student photo, school stamp across pages, grades, and signatures (required for Grades 11 and above)

  10. School Transfer Recommendation Letter from the student’s previous school (required for Grades 6 and above)
  11. School Transfer Request Form signed by the parent/guardian, with stamps and signatures from both previous and receiving schools (Not required for new students entering Grade 6 or Grade 10)

Once the Admissions Office has received all the required documents, parents are kindly requested to complete the payment of the Application Fee via bank transfer or by card at the school.

Please refer to the Application Fee as follows:

  • Kindergarten & Grade 1 : 500.000 VNĐ
  • Elementary, Middle & High School: 1.000.000 VNĐ
  • IGCSE/A-Level: 2.000.000 VNĐ

Once all required documents have been received and the Application Fee has been paid, the Admissions Office will schedule an appointment for the applicant to sit their admissions tests or/and attend their admissions interview:

  • Kindergarten and Grade 1: Interview with Head of Division.
  • Grade 2 and above: Admissions tests followed by an interview with Head of Division.

When the interview and test results are available, the Head of School will confirm if the student is accepted, conditionally accepted or rejected. The decision is final and cannot be contested.

f the student is accepted to the school, the Admissions Officer will send parents or guardians a formal Offer Letter and a tuition fee invoice. Parents have 5 working days to confirm their acceptance, pay the invoice, and submit all required documents.

After the Offer Letter is signed and submitted and all fees due are paid, the student will be formally enrolled at the school within 02 working days.
