EMASI Nam Long’s IGCSE Workshop: Why Preparation Starts Today

In the coming years, many international universities and employers will place greater priority on students’ real academic abilities, including analytical thinking, independent learning, and consistency in key subject areas. The IGCSE program plays an important role in developing these competencies.

The IGCSE 2025 results at EMASI Nam Long reflect this readiness among students:

  • 72% of examination entries achieved A/A*

  • 89% of grades were within the A–C range

  • 100% of students achieved A–C in at least three subjects

These results indicate that students are well prepared to progress to A Level or other international pathways, when clear academic direction is established during the critical ages of 14 to 16.

What Parents Need to Know When Their Children Are in Upper Elementary or Lower Secondary

For families with children in the upper primary or early lower secondary years, understanding secondary learning pathways early is essential. At this stage, parents often need clear information about programme structure, learning expectations, and how different pathways support students’ long-term academic development.

To help parents gain a clearer understanding, EMASI Nam Long warmly invites families to attend the upcoming IGCSE Workshop, where the school will explore:

  • What makes the IGCSE different from other programs?

  • When should students begin preparing for this pathway?

  • What skills should students develop in the middle years (Grades 5–8)?

  • What opportunities do IGCSEs open up?
