Ms. Tạ Thị Huyền Trang
Ms. Trang was born and raised in a farming family in the Central Highlands. She clearly remembers her elementary school years, during which she received dedicated guidance from her mother and teachers. To this day, she is proud to have achieved her career dream from a young age.
If asked about the person who inspired her to become an elementary school teacher, it would be Ms. Thu Nhuần, her third-grade homeroom teacher. Thanks to Ms. Thu Nhuần, she vividly sensed the love of a teacher. During a school performance rehearsal, she was fortunate to be chosen to join the dance group, but on the day of the performance, she did not have shoes to wear. Her teacher lent her an old pair of sandals belonging to her daughter. Although it was just an old pair of sandals, to her, it was a priceless gift. She used those sandals for many years, repairing or gluing them whenever they broke. From that moment on, she always dreamed of becoming an elementary school teacher. Moreover, it was also her mother’s dream. Her mother was an excellent student, but their family could not afford to pursue that dream. She is grateful to her mother and Ms. Thu Nhuần for their love and encouragement in pursuing her dreams.
After many years in the profession, she feels she has maintained her youthful spirit and joy, thanks to her passion for teaching, her beloved students, and supportive colleagues. Having taught across various grades and witnessing her students’ growth, she hopes they will always strive to make efforts and step out of their comfort zones to express themselves more. She sincerely hopes her students will learn to select knowledge wisely, seek good and righteous things, and live in harmony with others to become global citizens.
