Physical Education at EMASI: For Holistic Development

At EMASI, Physical Education is an essential part of our whole-child development approach. We believe that a healthy body and an active mind lay the foundation for effective learning, balanced living, and the cultivation of lifelong attributes for future global citizens.

Through sports and physical activities, students develop physical strength, flexibility, discipline, perseverance, and teamwork, all of which are as important as academic knowledge in shaping a well-rounded individual.

Inspiring a Love for Sports from an Early Age

EMASI prioritizes creating an inclusive and encouraging environment where every student feels comfortable and confident to participate in physical activities. Our Physical Education program spans from Kindergarten through Grade 12 and is designed with age-appropriate progression and consideration for individual abilities.

Students are introduced to a wide range of sports including swimming, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, martial arts, and even indoor rock climbing. Through each activity, students learn and apply techniques and build endurance, agility, and confidence in a safe, supportive atmosphere.

With the guidance of experienced coaches and the encouragement of peers, students are empowered to discover and develop their athletic potential. These active moments support both physical and mental wellbeing while fostering a positive, healthy lifestyle.

World-Class Facilities to Support Student Growth

To fully support the Physical Education curriculum and provide spaces where students can train like true athletes, EMASI has invested in modern, international-standard facilities, including:

  • A 25-meter competition-standard swimming pool
  • Football and other outdoor sports take place on purpose designed, high quality external fields
  • A multi-purpose indoor gymnasium with integrated courts and spectator seating
  • A professional dance and movement studio

These dedicated spaces allow students to engage in structured, meaningful physical activities every day.

From Personal Growth to Community Spirit

Physical Education at EMASI goes beyond the classroom. Students have access to a wide range of extracurricular sports clubs, internal competitions, and friendly matches between campuses and partner schools. These opportunities allow students to challenge themselves, showcase their talents, and grow their sense of resilience.

Sports also help bring the EMASI community closer together. Parents often join in as enthusiastic supporters, cheering on their children and becoming active participants in the school’s holistic mission. The energy, joy, and shared memories created during these events contribute to a strong, connected community, and help shape lasting, positive habits for life.
