Kindergarten
Focusing on bi-lingual language development consistent with our EMASI primary school, the Kindergarten program combines the curriculum from the Ministry of Education and Training in Vietnamese-by-Vietnamese teachers with an international program of English language developed framed by the Early Childhood Education Program of the British Ministry of Education. Resources from the Cambridge curriculum as well as WIDA (World Class Instructional Design and Assessment) provide our program with a breadth and depth of activities to enrichen student growth and development on an individualized basis.
Using Montessori methods based upon self-directed, hands-on learning, and collaborative play, we strive to help children make creative choices in their learning. We understand the physical, psycho-physiological development, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs for three-, four-, and five-year-old children. The EMASI Kindergarten program creates a safe, secure, and nurturing environment that provides opportunities for students to develop language abilities and social interaction skills necessary for success in school and greater society.
Numbers, letters, spaces, sizes, and shapes are some key elements of the preschool math curriculum. Students will also be able to explore the world around them and feel it through the visualization of coloring, drawing, jigsaw, sculpting and information technology activities. The EMASI Kindergarten Program also places a special emphasis on physical and musical education, providing students with rich, balanced, and inclusive experiences. Amidst all of this activity, we build student self-confidence and independence, two key elements for future cognitive and emotional development.
