INTRODUCTION

EMASI Van Phuc campus is based in the heart of the new residential development Van Phuc City, in the Thu Duc District. The convenient location of the campus is close to Go Vap, District 2, and Binh Thanh, which allows local resident parents to reach the school easily and without significant delays. The school was designed with environmental concerns in mind, to provide a safe and secure natural place to learn and explore for its students and teachers.

THE PERFECT PLACE FOR LEARNING

In contrast to traditional learning methods, where students listen to long lectures from a teacher. Lessons at EMASI Schools are vibrant and exciting for all students. Students learn in an environment that encourages them to explore, discuss and exchange their ideas. This is reflected in the design of our classroom.

Our smart tables and chairs imported from the US can be easily organized and arranged for any classroom activity. These chairs and tables can be adjusted by height, ensuring a comfortable environment for learners.

Our classroom design prioritizes natural light. All of our classrooms are fitted with large windows or glass walls that allow us to maximize natural light. Building materials and furniture in classrooms do not contain VOC (toxic evaporation compounds).

Classrooms are equipped with smartboards and conventional whiteboards which encourages group work and interactivity in lessons. This also allows for the smooth integration of technology in our lessons.

The system of individual lockers (locker) and bookshelves for all blocks, promotes awareness of personal and collective property protection as well as good organizational habits for students.

NURTURING THE SPIRIT OF SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY

The School’s Science program focuses on encouraging students to explore the world and new things around them. Through practical projects and experiments, students will be provided with a solid foundation for developing problem-solving skills and critical thinking – two skills essential for successful integration into the fast-paced world of science and technology today.

Accordingly, EMASI Schools include fully functional science labs to help meet the needs of students’ scientific practice. Our laboratories meet current technological standards, a place to conduct intensive experiments and improve the capacity of teachers.

In addition, the school is also equipped with the necessary first aid kits and fireproof floors to ensure the safest possible environment in which students can learn.

CULTIVATING A PASSION FOR READING AND USING MODERN TECHNOLOGY

In order to provide a space for building a reading culture, helping students feel excited and convenient when accessing useful books, the school library with an area of over 1000m2 is designed, with comfortable and quiet reading space, with reading places near the window taking advantage of natural light; an outside reading area with many trees and green grass hills.

EMASI is a school that understands the importance of reading as a skill that helps students reach their potential. Our 1000m2 school library is a quiet and comfortable reading space, ideal for students. The library also takes advantage of natural light with its large windows. An outside reading area allows students to enjoy reading surrounded by green grass, trees and flowers.

We have an abundance of English and Vietnamese books across a variety of genres providing a huge number of learning resources for students, to supplement their class work or to enjoy in their own time. We also provide library classes for each grade, teaching reading, selection and information processing skills, a vital skill in the information technology era.

FOSTERING PHYSICAL FITNESS

With a comprehensive Physical Education program and a diverse system of extracurricular clubs, the EMASI gymnasium is a place to inspire, nurture and develop a spirit of valuable sports enthusiasts and fitness efforts of all students and teachers.

In order for students not only to be knowledgeable about the information but also to have a healthy and robust body, EMASI has designed and built a gymnasium that fully meets technical and safety standards for the students’ training and competitive activities. Students are encouraged to exercise, creating a basis for habits of caring about health. Invested in the system of professional sports equipment, the gymnasium of the EMASI Schools is always ready not only for all activities, learning events and sports training of the school community but also becomes a place for organized leagues and sport competitions.

RELEASING ENERGY AT OUTDOOR SPORTS FIELDS

In addition to the exciting lessons in the classroom, the school offers outdoor physical activities on green lawns, the freedom to run and play in an open space. With a system of basketball courts, soccer fields, turf, and real grass, that are carefully cared for. EMASI students will have a space for activities and sports training. Also, through out advanced physical education program and diverse sports clubs. Therefore, students will have good health, positive spirits and strong physicality, which is the foundation for international integration with a confident and ready spirit.

SWIMMING AS AN ESSENTIAL SKILL

The swimming program of the school focuses on water safety and the development of swimming ability with many activities to encourage, motivate and ensure students will be confident and safe when swimming. To do that, EMASI’s pool system is designed for students to practice at the pool with international standards, ensuring the following factors:

• The pool is 25m long, using modern salt electrolysis system to clean water and disinfect with advanced heating system.
  Water quality standards do not cause allergies or have any effect on the respiratory process.
• The swim classroom process is strictly implemented and focuses on the safety of children through lessons on water safety and troubleshooting.

THE INDOOR CLIMBING ENVIRONMENT TRAINS PERSEVERANCE AND ENDURANCE

The indoor climbing environment provides practical benefits in terms of physical strength, endurance and motor skills, through advanced curriculum and professional teachers. Indoor climbing will be a sport to improve their judgment, responsibility, strategy and problem solving skills as well as increasing confidence in students. Designed and certified to be safe, the climbing wall is regularly maintained by the school. It acts as a playground and also a training place for students who love the sport that requires endurance, the spirit of focus and the ability to overcome challenges.

Located in the modern gymnasium of the EMASI Schools, climbing walls are one of the most popular places that many students love.

CREATIVE SPACE THAT UNLEASHES IMAGE THINKING, MULTI-DIMENSIONAL PERSPECTIVES AND APPLIED SCIENCE

In order to promote creativity, develop logical thinking and practice problem-solving skills of students, the Creative Space program is implemented in all grades in the EMASI Schools. Through the STEAM approach, the ideas will be turned into actual products by students.

In order to meet those goals, the Makerspace area at EMASI is built as an innovative space providing a full range of modern tools and equipment, including handheld devices, CNC machines, 3D printers and 3D scanners. Along with technology and computing applications. Through activities in the Makerspace area, students will learn about visual thinking, practice multi-dimensional perspectives, enhance creativity and passion for art.

ENSURE NUTRITION AND HEALTH

Each delicious meal will provide all the necessary energy to help the children study in the following classes. At EMASI, meals are not only focused on a diet with enough energy and nutrients, but also one that is delicious and fresh. In order to achieve this, the EMASI Schools cafeteria is invested and designed to become a self-catering dining space with modern design and furniture imported from the US, under the guidance of General Chef – Iron Chef Tran Ho Nhut Linh with 20 years of working and creating culinary creations for international 5-star hotel groups.

A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES

The multi-function hall with more than 400 modern seats of EMASI is the perfect place to organize important events and activities to honor knowledge, honor talents, and show gratitude to the achievements of the EMASI pioneer generation community.

RELAX AND EXPERIENCE THE NATURAL GREEN SPACE

For each educational environment, the green color of the nature helps students to be calm and relaxed; therefore to be physically healthy. This was the the goal of EMASI when designing a rooftop biological garden with an area of up to 1,000 m2. This area includes: hanging gardens, farms, farming areas – experiments, individual learning, group learning and relaxation… All of which have contributed to creating a large green area for the friendly school environment of the EMASI Schools.

NURTURE FUN AND INTERACTION WITH FRIENDS

Fun plays an indispensable part to learning at school. Play is also an important factor in an advanced educational program. Therefore, the playground on the green campus of the EMASI campuses are intentionally designed with equipment systems imported from the US as an important part of the school’s educational philosophy. It will include an area with various types of sports support equipment, a safe sand playground combined with grass hills, grass fields and many other sports areas to create a space for activity, relaxation, healthy entertainment and will be useful for students after class time.
